GuocoLand Limited

Listed on the Singapore Exchange since 1978, GuocoLand Limited (“GuocoLand”) is a premier regional property company with operations in the geographical markets of Singapore, China, Malaysia and Vietnam. Headquartered in Singapore, the principal business activities of GuocoLand and its subsidiaries (“the Group”) are property development, property investment, hotel operations and property management.

The Group’s portfolio comprises of residential, hospitality, commercial, retail and integrated developments spanning across the region. GuocoLand is focused on achieving scalability, sustainability and growth in its core markets through its property development, investment and management businesses. The Group’s total assets amounted to S$7.9 billion as at 30 June 2016.

In Singapore, the Group has successfully developed and sold 34 residential projects yielding more than 9,000 apartments and homes over the last 26 years. It has also invested an estimated US$3 billion in China and developed a sizeable portfolio of properties spanning across the major cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and Tianjin. The Group’s 65% owned subsidiary, GuocoLand (Malaysia) Berhad (which is listed on Bursa Malaysia), has an established presence of over 50 years developing master planned townships, prime residential and commercial properties in Malaysia. The Group is currently developing the first fully-integrated development in Binh Duong Province, 17km away from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

A leader of integrated mixed-use developments across Asia, the Group now has sizeable integrated projects in each of its markets:

  • Tanjong Pagar Centre in Singapore;
  • Shanghai Guoson Centre in China;
  • Damansara City in Malaysia;
  • The Canary in Vietnam;

These strategically located developments are integrated with or situated near to major transportation hubs.

An Award-Winning Developer

GuocoLand has been honoured with numerous awards and accolades both locally and internationally, in recognition of its portfolio of quality, innovative developments and commitment to business excellence. These include environmental sustainability awards such as the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Awards and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Pre-Certification, as well as real estate awards honouring the best property companies such as the International Property Awards, FIABCI Property Awards, BCI Asia Awards and South East Asia Property Awards. Other corporate awards received include the Model Establishment Company Award, which was granted to GuocoLand China by the Beijing Dongcheng District government in recognition of its contribution to the economic development of Dongcheng District, and the Beijing Corporate Social Responsibility Real Estate Developers Award initiated by the State Council. In Shanghai, GuocoLand China was recognised for its contribution to the economic and social development of the Putuo District by the Shanghai Putuo District People’s Government.
